All portable air compressors listed are rotary screw type, diesel powered, all tested and fully operational. Blast cleaning is one of many obvious applications for required compressed air. Selection of the proper compressor is essential for a productive blast system. C.F.M. or "cubic feet per minute" is the main criteria for requirements. I.E. a 1/4" nozzle or #4 nozzle, requires 100 c.f.m. to operate at standard 100 p.s.i. (pounds square inch) not to be confused with c.f.m. A 25 horse power compressor typically provides 100 c.f.m. at 100 p.s.i. this is a minimum requirement for production blasting. For semi production blasting, smaller compressors/nozzles may be utilized. Please contact us for selection of the proper system for your application.
